SUBMISSIONS
The Forum offers the opportunity to participants to publish Abstracts or Full Papers. The organizing committee invites authors to submit abstracts for presentations on any of the three topics of IFAU2017: (i) sustainability development, (ii) formal and informal settlements and (iii) memory of the cities. Submissions are sought for oral presentation, poster presentation, and full paper. Authors must select the type of submission during the registration process at IFAU2017 website. More than one type of submissions can be selected.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Authors are invited to submit abstracts extended deadline till November 11th, 2017.
Abstracts should be text only, up to 300 words long, and should be written in English, using the template. Aside from the abstract, please provide at least 3 keywords and choose the main topic of the conference that fits the subject of your paper.

The authors will be informed about the acceptance of the abstracts of extended deadline till November 20th, 2017
The Abstracts that will be presented in the Forum will be published in the Book of Abstracts with an ISBN code.

PAPER SUBMISSION
Accepted authors will be notified until 20th of November by the Technical Committee of IFAU2017. Accepted authors who have selected to participate in an oral presentation in the forum will be required to submit a structured paper, no later than 26th of November 2017. The structured paper must include the abstract, a description of each chapter and be accompanied by the bibliography. Further guideline information will be sent at the moment of notification.
The submitted structured paper should have:
TITLE
AUTHORS
ABSTRACT with KEYWORDS
NAME OF ALL CHAPTERS with description of its structure (one paragraph)
BIBLIOGRAPHY

PUBLICATION
The best papers of the forum will be published in a Monograph Book with ISBN (hard copy) by the Italian publishing house: “La scuola di Pitagora editrice“ (www.scuoladipitagora.it) and e-book, PDF distributed by international EBSCO (https://www.ebsco.com).
Authors who choose to publish the paper after the presentation are invited to submit full papers using the template, no later than 28th of February 2018.

The authors will be informed about the acceptance of the full papers no later than 30th of March 2018.
Authors are asked to respect and use established styles, as well as the defined maximum of 8 pages for the full paper.
Both, abstracts and full papers will be reviewed by two members of the scientific committee.
RESEARCH POSTER ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Poster session involves visually presented research studies. Authors are invited to submit abstracts for posters to be exhibited at the forum extended deadline November 11th, 2017.
Abstracts should be up to 300 words long, written in English and may include supporting graphics, following the below template. Aside from the abstract, please provide at least 3 keywords and choose the main topic of the conference that fits the subject of your research poster.

The authors will be informed about the acceptance of the abstracts of the posters, extended deadline November 20th, 2017
The Abstracts of the Posters that will be presented in the IFAU2017 will be published in the Book of Abstracts with an ISBN code.
RESEARCH POSTER SUBMISSION
Accepted authors will be notified until 20th of November by the Technical Committee of IFAU2017 and will be required to submit the research poster no later than extended deadline December 7th, 2017. The poster should clearly address the following information:
- the main research goal
- the methodology
- the experimental phase
- the outcomes and the achievements and considerations.
The poster must follow the below-preset template:
- paper size: A1
- author/s, affiliations and title of the contribution: please, follow the example given in the template as a reference.
All written parts must be in English and should be written in a clear language to help readers and forum attendees to understand its content. It is essential to ensure a clear explanation of the research question, main ideas, framework, methodologies, and results.
All submissions must be made in PDF format.
