A momorandum of understanding has been signed on 11 September 2015 between the Faculty of Architecture of the Ondokuz Mayıs University and the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Polytechnic University of Tirana. The MoU has been signed by the deans Professor Derya Oktay and Professor Andrea Maliqari, and will enable the academic exchange between the two schools. The rectors of the two institutions have also signed an Erasmus + Bi-lateral Agreement. This agreement will enable the mobility for teaching and training and will support the development of relationships between the two universities and the two Faculties of Architecture in particular.
Following the courtesy visit and the official ceremony at Rector Prof. Hüseyin Akan’s office, Rector Prof. Jorgaq Kaçani, Chancellor Besmir Ali, Dean Prof. Andrea Mallqari and Vice Dean Gjergji Islami of Polytechnic University of Tirana paid a courtesy visit at Dean Prof. Oktay’s office at the Faculty of Architecture. Academic staff members Dr. Erhan Pancar, Cem Ayık and Nihan Ulusan were also present during the ceremony.
