1-SUSTAINABILITY ‘AND THE PLANET, will be presented the concept of environmental sustainability as an essential prerogative to ensure the stability of the planet. It will be dealt with the problem of energy resources and as the strong growth in demand for fossil fuels has led to a significant release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere with visible negative effects on the entire planet.

2-STRATEGIES FOR THE PLANET, OF THE KYOTO IN PARIS, to address the environmental crisis has recourse to the signing of an international treaty, the Kyoto Protocol (Japan, 1996) to the twenty-first Conference of the Parties (Paris, 2015); highlighting the planned strategies for the solution of environmental problems such as CO2 and increase in the average temperature of the planet.

3-The experience ITALIAN AND EVOLUTION IN REGULATORY MATTERS, will cover the evolution of the Italian legislation on energy saving and efficiency, to better understand how the years have been thought the energy savings targets proposed by the European Union, in ‘field of the design and construction of new buildings or renovation of existing buildings. They will offer the various building material used in the past, and possible improvements implemented in the structural field and plant.

4-EFFICIENCY ENERGY FROM PLANNING TO IMPLEMENTATION: EXPERIENCES AND PROJECTS: will present the definition of energy efficiency and the use of systems or protocols for energy certification, developed in different countries. It will offer some training experience that involved the Verona School: “Deans towards 2020” (Technical Institute “Cangrande della Scala”), Sustainable Energy in schools (Educandato Statale agli Angeli); with particular attention to the importance of education in the schools just mentioned.

Also they will present some sustainable building projects, showing materials and construction techniques.
